CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Sturdy Savings Bank President and CEO Gerald L. Reeves presented a promising Economic Outlook for 2017 to the Ocean City Chamber on May 11.
Keynote speaker Reeves noted that spending and bank deposits in the County continue to see steady growth. He also noted that home sales are doing well, as is tourism, and a watchful eye should be on the labor participation rate.
“As I’ve watched the economic data swirling around us, I once again have that sense of renewed optimism. Certainly, we’re not where we were nine or 10 years ago,” Reeves said.
