CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Sturdy Savings Bank recently presented a corporate sponsorship donation to The Wetlands Institute. The funds will help support the Institute’s educational programming and events, community outreach efforts, summer youth camps and continuing research.
Each year, The Wetlands Institute seeks partnerships with local organizations, like Sturdy Savings Bank, to raise funds for conducting research to further understand the ecosystems that live in the marshes. The Institute also educates the youth on these extraordinary ecosystems, and strives to safe-guard the well-being of the environment.
The corporate sponsorship was presented by Sturdy Savings Bank’s Stone Harbor Branch Manager, Kathleen Makowski, and Sturdy Financial Services* Financial Adviser, Christopher Shoemaker to the Executive Director of The Wetlands Institute, Lenore Tedesco.
