CAPE MAY – Michael J. Clark is Sturdy Savings Bank employee of the quarter. Clark, the bank’s Cape May Branch Manager, is well known in the community for both his personal service and strong commitment to volunteerism.
“Michael personifies what community banking is about: neighbors helping neighbors. He is well deserving of this honor,” said Gerald L. Reeves, president and CEO.
Clark, a longtime local resident, has served as a volunteer firefighter since 1994 and is the President of both the Cape May County Firemen’s Association and the Cape May Court House Volunteer Fire Company. He is also serves on the Board of Directors of the Cape May Kiwanis Club and the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May; and is President of the Cape May Rotary Club.
Clark is a Sunday School teacher and song leader at the Court House Church of Christ. His singing talents are also featured in the Bank’s commercials.
