Stone Harbor Resident Appointed Associate Dean at Richard Stockton College

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP – Cynthia Sosnowski, a resident of Stone Harbor, has been appointed associate dean of the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
Sosnowski, who was previously executive director of Continuing Studies for Health Sciences and Human Services at Stockton, brings over 20 years of experience in continuing and adult education. She joined Stockton College in 2003 as assistant to the Dean of Social and Behavioral Sciences after teaching at the community college level for 10 years and managing Prevention and Psychotherapy Consultants, a clinical and community education consulting and training firm she founded in 1991.
Sosnowski earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Queens College, City University of New York, a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern CT State University, and a Doctor of Education in Higher Education from Nova Southeastern University, receiving the Fischler School of Education and Human Services Dr. Charles E. Faires Dissertation of Distinction award for her dissertation focusing on determining contact hours for online non-credit continuing education coursework.
