The Travis Manion Foundation
Before leaving for his final deployment, 1st Lieutenant Travis Manion visited Rescue Team 1 in New York City, and returned home both passionate about why he was fighting in Iraq, and committed to ensuring that no one ever forgets the service of so many men and women who protect us every day.
Every September 11 we bring together communities across the nation to remember, honor, and support our men and women in the armed forces and first responder communities who protect and serve our country.
On the 10th anniversary of 9/11, we continue to demonstrate the strength of our spirit. This year, with your support, we estimate that we’ll have close to 50, 9/11 Heroes Runs in different communities throughout the country, with approximately 25,000 runners.
