Pianist Stanley DeLage is the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) Volunteer of the Month for May 2018. DeLage, shown here, left, was nominated by MAC Director of Retail Operations Sharon Falkowski, right, who is also the coordinator for the Friends of the Cape May Music Festival. DeLage was nominated for donating his time and sharing his extraordinary artistry by performing a solo piano recital at the Cape Island Baptist Church in Cape May April 4, 2018. He has won numerous national and international music competitions, is currently an adjunct faculty member at Rowan University, and is a sought after chamber musician. The event raised funds in support of the music festival.
“Stanley was extraordinarily generous to perform at no cost in support of the Friends of the Cape May Music Festival,” said Falkowski. “His support of our efforts is so appreciated. We are very fortunate to have been able to share his artistry with the general public in this way. Thanks to his generosity, we were able to do just that.”
