By Herald Staff

COURT HOUSE — The Wildwood Women’s Golf Association recently presented a check for $32,000, the proceeds of its 2008 Spring for VIM golf tournament, to Volunteers in Medicine of Cape May County.
Led by Francey Burke, tournament founder and director, the event attracted women golfers from throughout the Delaware Valley and sold out early.
“We are grateful for the tremendous support of the community’s donations and sponsorships and to Francey Burke and the women of the WWGA for their outstanding effort and success in raising these funds for VIM,” said Ed Clement, chair of VIM’s Board of Trustees in a release.
