FOLSOM – South Jersey Gas, a subsidiary of SJI (NYSE: SJI), today announced the winners of its annual Game On Grants Program. Twenty grants in the amount of $1,000 each will be awarded, helping to provide critical support to local, community-centered children’s athletic programs, leagues, clubs, associations and recreational organizations.
“It’s our privilege to be able to provide financial support that helps reinforce the incredible efforts of the many volunteers in our community who give their time and talents to support local, children’s sports programs,” said Dave Robbins, president, South Jersey Gas. “Our customers and employees live, work and play in the same communities our Game On Grants program is designed to support, and we’re proud to partner with these twenty organizations in 2018 to promote safe, active, healthy living for so many kids in our region.”
Since 2011, South Jersey Gas has contributed more than $100,000 toward youth community-centered athletic programs.
