Siracusa to Address OC Marketing Summit

OCEAN CITY – The keys to capitalizing upon today’s market will be explored as the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce hosts its 3rd Annual Marketing Summit on Thursday, April 14th from 8:30am to 11am at the Ocean City Tabernacle.
The purpose of the summit is to gather and analyze marketing and advertising information in the regional area so that businesses may make informed advertising decisions for the 2011 summer season. Media representatives from throughout the region have been invited to attend, present information on their offerings, and have a display table. Local TV, cable, newspapers, brochure distributers, and magazine representatives will be on-hand to answer questions and explain the benefits of their form of media. Many will be offering specials packages to those in attendance.
Guest Speakers include Diane Wieland and Debbie Bass from the Cape May County Department of Tourism, Mark Soifer from Ocean City Public Relations Department, and keynote speaker Jamie Siracusa , Founder and Executive Director of the Business Excellence Center. Jamie Siracusa is also the managing partner of JP Siracusa & Associates and BEC Technology Solutions 2 NJ based consulting firms.
Jamie was born and raised in Margate, NJ and although he has worked all over the US and Canada, he’s retained a residence here his whole life. He is a graduate of the Atlantic City Friends School, studied at the Livingston College of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and is currently seeking a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He currently lives in Somers Point, is the father of 6 children, one boy, a US Navy sailor stationed in Japan, and 5 daughters all living and spending a ton of my money right here in this area.
Jamie has started, bought and sold over a half dozen businesses, he is a Certified Business Marketing Consultant and Trainer and is the co-author of seven training manuals on marketing, sales, digital advertising, and growing business revenues. Through the years Jamie has worked with some of the leading companies in Information Technology, Market Research and Publishing including: Faulkner Information Services, Condor Technologies, Medical Intelligence Solutions and Jobson Publishing, he has consulted with some of the largest companies in the U.S. including: Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Sprint, Qwest, Bristol-Myer Squibb, Wyeth Research, and Schering-Plough Corporation.
In 2007 he acquired the English Creek Executive Center a virtual office and business center in the 501 Scarborough Drive building. Building its services further, he has added numerous business training seminars and support services. He’s formed a coalition of local businesses, networking groups, NFIB, local SBA banks and the Stockton NJSBDC to introduce business development, sales, and marketing training. Last year he added a “small business incubator” to help local start-up companies and struggling SMB’s, effectively and systematically grow their revenues and profits.
The incubator provides: very affordable rents with no security deposits or long term commitments, free internet and faxing, free conference and meeting rooms, free training workshops, discounted printing, and low-cost, affordable, dynamic e-commerce web sites. Jamie is committed to sharing the inside secrets and successful marketing methodologies of the large corporations he has worked with to this area’s local, small and medium sized business owners and managers.
