SHPOA Meeting Set for Sept. 14

By Press Release

STONE HARBOR – The Stone Harbor Property Owners Association (SHPOA) will hold its annual free membership meeting on Sept. 14 at the Stone Harbor Elementary School, 93rd Street and Third Avenue. Pre-meeting social (coffee & pastries) will be served starting at 8:30 a.m. with the meeting starting at 9:00 a.m. Jeff Alderton, the association president, will kick off the meeting with an association status report. Borough council president, MS Judy Davies-Dunhour, and Borough Administrator, MS Jill Gougher, will provide the attendees with an update on the Borough. At this meeting, the attendees will elect officers for president and treasurer and six new trustees. An open microphone forum will allow attendees to raise and discuss issues of concern. For more information contact Dianne at 717-201-1103.
The SHPOA changed its name this year from the Realty Owners Association of Stone Harbor (ROA) in order to be more identifiable as the representative organization of all Stone Harbor property owners. It still continues the same goals and objectives it has for more than 60 years: keeping our membership informed of Borough and regional affairs and activities, representing our membership before Borough and regional representatives, and advocating for the improvement of the Borough.
