On Tuesday, Nov. 15, ShopRite delivered the first installment of 6,300 gallons of milk to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, southern branch, thanks to generous donations from the community. Dozens of ShopRite associates were at the food bank as part of the food bank’s yearly holiday volunteer event.
Throughout the month of October, customers at ShopRite stores in Absecon, Egg Harbor Township, Galloway, Hammonton, Marmora, Rio Grande, Somers Point and Vineland were able to make a donation at checkout to help support Feeding America’s The Great American Milk Drive, an initiative to deliver fresh, nutrient-rich milk to local kids in need.
