Shilo Kubiak is Named Cape Regional Health System’s Difference Maker of the Year

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Shilo Kubiak, of Corbin City, NJ, has been named Cape Regional Health System’s Difference Maker of the Year. Shilo has been a member of the Cape Regional Team since 2014, beginning her career with the Distribution and Central Supply Team and then as a Receptionist at Cape Regional Physicians Associates Medical Commons Primary Care practice.
Shilo’s nomination stated, “On a daily basis, Shilo exhibits the attributes that are necessary to promote Cape Regional Health System’s goal to provide our community with high-quality care that is coordinated, personal and easy to access. Through her infectious smile, she always makes our patients feel welcomed and appreciated. She actively listens and responds to their needs and coordinates the patient’s care together with the needs of the practice. Shilo volunteers to train others in best practices and does so in a manner that they can relate to and appreciate. She is always proactive and volunteers to help with whatever is needed both in the office and throughout Cape Regional Physicians Associates. Shilo is truly positive, engaged and proactive each and every day and is a tremendous asset to Cape Regional Physicians Associates and Cape Regional Health System.”
In her spare time, Shilo enjoys participating in South Jersey Sports League which is an adult league in Ocean City, NJ. She also enjoys going to the movies and having fun with family and friends. She is actively involved with CONTACT Cape Atlantic which is a telephone reassurance program for the elderly, disabled and isolated community and is currently a CONTACT Board Member and serves as Treasurer.
“This was a completely unexpected honor to be named Cape Regional Health System’s Difference Maker of the Year. I believe in everything that the Health System is doing for our community and the quality of care we are providing,” stated Ms. Kubiak. “I immediately felt welcomed into the Health System when I began working at the Medical Center and it was a fluid transition to Cape Regional Physicians Associates. All my team members have made coming to work each morning very easy. It may seem cliché, but it’s true—if you find a career you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
