Sea Isle City Works on Filling Potholes

By Herald Staff

SEA ISLE CITY— Earlier this spring, the City of Sea Isle City continued to address streets that are in need of resurfacing. After completing several paving projects around town, including stretches of 32nd, 33rd and 44th Streets, the city then looked to the future and other paving projects.
During the week of June 9, Pleasure Avenue was given new life between 38th Street and JFK Boulevard. Additionally, on June 17, 74th and 81st Streets were given new blacktop between Landis and Central Avenues.
“81st Street’s resurfacing completes our paving project for the season,” said Public Works Director John Manganaro. “We will resume paving in the fall when we resurface 48th and 51st Streets between Central and Landis Avenues.”
