WASHINGTON –– The deadline is approaching for businesses in Cape May County and surrounding South Jersey counties to apply for low-interest disaster relief loans from the Small Business Administration (SBA) related to the drought and high temperatures last summer.
The filing deadline is June 30 for Economic Injury Disaster Loan program, which provides working capital to small businesses and agricultural cooperatives affected directly by the declared disaster.
Affected businesses are eligible for up to $1.5 million loans at 4 percent interest or less for damages caused by the disaster.
