STONE HARBOR – Robert T. Rich, broker/owner and five managers of Coldwell Banker James C. Otton Real Estate, Inc., gained insight into a new breed of real estate consumer who enjoys utilizing online innovation while welcoming collaboration with proven professionals at the Coldwell Banker® Global Management Summit held recently at Boca Raton Resort and Club from Oct. 15-17.
Coldwell Banker James C. Otton Real Estate, Inc. has five offices serving Cape May County for more than 60 years. Their offices are located in Stone Harbor, Avalon, Cape May Court House, North Cape May and Wildwood Crest.
According to a release, the James C. Otton management team joined more than 500 select Coldwell Banker brokers, owners and managers from the Coldwell Banker system who attended the event. Attendees heard from keynote speaker Seth Godin, the best selling author of nine marketing, change and work books including his most recent The Dip. Keith Ferrazzi, chief executive officer of Ferrazzi Greenlight and author of Never Eat Alone, shared his thoughts on the importance of networking.
The Global Management Summit offered attendees more than 40 educational sessions or Management Success Modules, networking opportunities, panel discussions and first hand access to the corporation’s proprietary systems, tools and programs.
“Consumers now enjoy the benefits of anonymity in the ‘dreaming’ phase of the real estate process where they view Web sites like www.coldwellbanker.com and www.BeachToBay.com to learn about the process and become familiar with brands, companies and even sales associates,” said Jim Gillespie, president and chief executive officer, Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC. “This first step comes before they initiate contact with a sales associate and begin shopping for a new home. We work hard to provide Coldwell Banker affiliated managers, brokers and owners as much insight as possible into the needs of this empowered consumer so they can effectively collaborate with their customer in the home buying and selling process.”
“The Global Management Summit provided us with a chance to exchange ideas with other professionals and learn new ways to improve our customers’ real estate experience,” Rich said. “In a word, Coldwell Banker ‘gets it.’ We were given so much information about the emerging real estate consumer and Seth Godin confirmed how hard work, extra effort and creativity make a huge difference .
