COURT HOUSE — The Middle Township Economic Development Council invites all business owners located in Middle Township to an important seminar to discuss the PropertyTax Reward Card program. The seminar will be held March 26 at the Samuel Devico Senior Center located at 23 Romney Place in Cape May Court House. There will be two sessions; 12 noon – 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. The session from 12 noon – 1 p.m. will be conducted by the owner of the Property Tax Reward Card Program, Carmine DeFalco.
The Property Tax Reward Card Program is a new initiative being supported by the Middle Township Economic Development Council. The program provides property tax rebates as an incentive for residents to shop locally in Middle Township. Every resident would receive a free PropertyTax Reward Card that can be used at participating businesses in Middle Township. Every purchase made at a participating location would have a pre-determined rebate credited to their property tax bill.
“This program does require participation from local business owners and that’s why we are conducting these sessions, to give local business owners the opportunity to ask questions, learn how the program works and explain the competitive edge this type of program will bring to local businesses in Middle Township, we are encouraging every business owner to attend,” said Carol Struett, Chairwoman of the Middle Township Economic Development Council.
To sign up for either session, business owners are asked to email Sandie Linz, Economic Council Secretary at SLinz@middletownship.com. Should you not be able to attend, please email Sandie Linz to have information about the program sent to you.
