Plan Farmland Affordability Talk

MAYVILLE — David Kimmel, agricultural resource specialist from the state Agricultural Development Board, will present a program on “Farmland Affordability” to discuss current and proposed policies of the New Jersey Farmland Preservation Program on Oct. 3.
The presentation will take place at 6 p.m. at Atkinson’s Tavern, 1010 Route 9 South, prior to the annual business dinner meeting of the Cape May County Board of Agriculture.
The Cape May County Board of Agriculture’s annual meeting and election of officers will commence at 7:30 p.m.
There is a charge for the dinner. Payment in advance is not required; however, choice of entrée is needed prior to the event
Those interested in joining the Farmland Preservation Presentation and/or dinner, should contact Dana Tyndall at Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County at 609-465-5115, extension 607 for reservations by Sept. 26, 2007.
