Pary Tell of Erma is the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) Volunteer of the Month for August 2016. MAC Chief Outreach Officer Mary Stewart nominated Pary for the honor for all she does to promote MAC events. Pary is Director of the Division of Culture & Heritage for Cape May County. “Pary forwards all our email blasts about events and our press releases to her network of local arts and cultural organizations and interested persons,” said Stewart.
“That network includes not just the organizational contacts but more than 6,900 individuals who have requested to receive information about Cape May County events,” Pary said.
“Her emails usually include a tagline such as, ‘sounds like a fun event’,” Stewart said. “She really helps us get our message out to the local community. Pary is a wonderful and passionate advocate for culture and heritage in Cape May County and this is just one of the many ways she helps organizations like MAC.”
The Volunteer of the Month award is given to a person or persons demonstrating a high degree of dedication, commitment and constancy to the MAC organization.
