OCEAN CITY – Ocean City Home Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of four experienced banking executives: Jason Swift, Jenna Miller, Melissa Sterling, and Brenda Flaherty-Pickeral.
Together, Jason, Jenna, Melissa and Brenda have been serving Ocean City Home Bank customers for a total of 45 years, and theyve done an outstanding job in each of their respective positions, said Steven Brady, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ocean City Home Bank. By hiring the right people, giving them a chance to shine, and promoting from within, were able to develop the team that continually helps us earn our reputation as the bank people trust.
Jason Swift was promoted from Vice President of Compliance to First Vice President of Compliance. Jason has ten years of experience in bank compliance, including nine years with Ocean City Home Bank. He earned a Bachelors Degree from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island, as well as the designation of Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager from the American Bankers Association and Institute of Certified Bankers. He lives in Northfield, New Jersey, with his wife and son.
Jenna Miller was promoted from Loan Analyst to Assistant Vice President of Residential Lending. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Jenna earned a Bachelors Degree in business finance. She brings more than seven years of experience in the mortgage industry, including six years at Ocean City Home Bank, to work for lending customers. Jenna lives in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, with her husband and daughter.
Melissa Sterling was promoted from Online Banking Manager to Assistant Vice President of Online Banking. After joining the Ocean City Home Bank team as a part-time teller in 2001, Melissa gained a breadth of banking experience in positions such as CSR Supervisor, Branch Operations Manager, Sales & Service Manager, Risk Operations Manager, and, most recently, Online Banking Manager. She has received Electronic Banking Certification through BankersWeb, and she serves on the Advisory Board for Digital Insight, a firm that provides digital banking solutions to United States banks and credit unions.
Brenda Flaherty-Pickeral was promoted from Business Development Manager to Assistant Vice President of Business Development. Brenda joined Ocean City Home Bank in 1999 as a teller and has progressed through a variety of positions of increasing responsibility. A graduate of Mainland Regional High School and Atlantic Vocational School, Brenda has more than 20 years of experience in banking. She lives in Egg Harbor Township with her husband and two children.
