OCEAN CITY – The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a Business Summit on Tues., Oct. 18, 2011 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Greate Bay Country Club, Ocean City, NJ.
Nationally recognized economic forecasting expert, Joe Naroff, Ph. D., will be the guest speaker. He is the President and founder of Naroff Economic Advisors, a strategic economic consulting firm. He advises companies from a wide range of industries on the risks and opportunities that economic developments may have on the organization’s operating environment.
Naroff has received numerous honors and is a nationally recognized economic forecasting expert. This year, and also in 2007, he received the National Association for Business Economics Outlook Award as the top economic forecaster. In 2008, he was awarded one of the oldest and most prestigious forecasting honors, the Lawrence Klein Award. He was also named the Bloomberg Business News 2008 top economic forecaster. In 2006, he was MSNBC’s top forecaster. He was also the first independent economist to win the CBS Market-Watch Economist of the Month award.
