Occupational Therapist Joins Rehabilitation Medicine Team at Cape Regional

COURT HOUSE – A.J. Weiss, Licensed Occupational Therapist (previously of Crown Therapists in Cape May Court House) has joined the Rehabilitation Medicine Team at Cape Regional Medical Center.
A.J.’s clinical experience includes both outpatient and inpatient settings. His area of practice is in the management of upper extremity injuries, with a specific expertise in post-surgical management of the shoulder. A.J. has also worked with many local high school athletes in the management of sports injuries. He has been a part of the Cape May County community for many years and has developed an excellent rapport with physicians and their patients. A.J. is a 1999 graduate of Towson University with an MS Degree in Occupational Therapy.
“I am extremely excited to be able to provide the same quality level of care as I did at Crown Therapists,” stated Weiss. “This care is now enhanced with the resources, equipment, technology and the knowledgeable and skilled team of dedicated professionals at Cape Regional Medical Center.”
The Rehabilitation Medicine Department at Cape Regional Medical Center is comprised of ten Physical Therapists, five Occupational Therapists, and one Speech Therapist. The Service offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient treatments in the area of upper extremity and lower extremity management and rehabilitation of orthopedic and neurological problems, balance and walking problems, wound care, as well as speech and language problems.
