MAYS LANDING—Atlantic Cape Community College’s Alumni Association Advisory Committee is accepting nominations for the Atlantic Cape Community College President’s Distinguished Alumni Award. The award recognizes Atlantic Cape graduates who have distinguished themselves through professional, personal, public or community-based accomplishments. This year, two alumni will be recognized for this award.
This prestigious award demonstrates Atlantic Cape’s dedication to strengthening its alumni relations. Visit http://atlantic.edu/alumni/ to nominate an Atlantic Cape graduate for this honor by Friday, April 1. Nominations received after the deadline will be considered with next year’s group of nominees.
A panel of Atlantic Cape alumni will review the applications and make a recommendation to Dr. Peter L. Mora, president. The recipient will be announced and recognized at graduation, Thursday, May 19.
Past award recipients include: Stephen R. Dunn, a scientific researcher; Thomas Innocente, former assistant professor at Atlantic Cape; Dr. Valerie Travis-Reese, practicing psychologist; Katherine M. Morris, Esq., partner, Cooper Levenson, Attorneys at Law; Michael R. Rann, Esq., Michael R. Rann Law Offices, LLC; and Janice DeCicco Fipp, Ed.D., former superintendent, Northfield School District.
