CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE—Cape May County has a new branch of SCORE – known as the Service Corps of Retired Executives. Dave Yunghans, a certified SCORE mentor, will speak at the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce lunch meeting on Sept. 21 at Sand Barrens Golf Club.
SCORE is the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors, with more than 10,000 volunteers and 300 chapters across the United States. As a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administrations, SCORE has helped more than 10 million entrepreneurs through mentoring, workshops and educational resources since 1964.
“Cape May County has been without a SCORE network for many years,” says Vicki Clark, President of the Chamber. “SCORE provides invaluable counseling to existing small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs on all aspects of business from retired experts who have real-world experience. The Chamber is very excited about this new resource for our business community.”
