New Nature Store at Two Mile Now Open for Business

WILDWOOD CREST – The Friends of Cape May National Wildlife Refuge have announced the opening of a new nature store and gift shop at the Two Mile Beach Unit of the Refuge, located at 12001 Pacific Ave (Ocean Dr), Wildwood Crest, near the former Coast Guard Loran Station. Operated by volunteers, the store is open to the public, and offers a wide variety of books, pamphlets, note cards, gifts and apparel. Tee-shirts, both long and short sleeved, as well as hooded sweatshirts with the Cape May NWR logo are available, as well as the new horseshoe crab tees from Flying Fish in Cape May. Field guides and books by local authors, including Richard Crossley, Pat and Clay Sutton, Scott Whittle, Michael O’Brien and others are available as well. The store is open 9-5 each weekend and various hours on weekdays. All proceeds from store purchases go toward Friends’ educational programs and operations.
