New Business Brings Beauty to Pacific Avenue

By Press Release

WILDWOOD – With a large crowd of family, friends, clergy and city officials standing at the corner of Pacific and Roberts avenues, a ceremonial ribbon was cut and Pan America Hair became the newest member of the revitalization of Pacific Avenue.
“This storefront has been vacant for almost a decade,” said Commissioner Pete Byron. “This is awesome for the City of Wildwood. It’s always great to bring new business to the city and the fact that this a bilingual business is makes this even better.”
For owner Lataysha Sherretta, the opening of the salon and barber shop, located at 4201½ Pacific Avenue, was a dream come true. “I want to thank everyone for supporting me. I came from Panama as a 6-year-old girl and didn’t know English and I am grateful to God and to everyone.”
“We congratulate Lataysha on her vote of confidence in the City of Wildwood,” said Byron. “We are thrilled to join her in this grand opening.”
