WILDWOOD — A “Boardwalk Block Party” celebrating the grand opening of Capt’n Jacks Island Grill along with the Palace of Sweets, the home of the new “Adventure Maze,” is planned for Thursday, at 4 p.m., located between Juniper and Poplar on the Wildwoods Boardwalk.
These two new establishments, together with Joe’s Fish Co., Stewart’s and the Sand Jamm Surf Shop, further extend the Boardwalk Special Improvement District’s (BSID) vision for a better boardwalk experience.
Capt’n Jacks Island Grill is the newest fun and family-friendly dining experience on the Boardwalk. With a laid-back menu and atmosphere, this throwback to the original island is a themed beachfront casual eating establishment owned and operated by the owners of Stewart’s of Wildwood.
Nearby Capt’n Jacks is the spectacular new Palace of Sweets, home to the boardwalks newest family attraction, Adventure Maze. Designed by one of the United Kingdom’s top designers, Adrian Fisher, the maze mixes candy and adventure into a one of a kind, fun and exciting experience.
While there, visitots can also give the “Vault” Laser Maze Challenge a try, as well. Two fun attractions and over 75 varieties of self-serve candy are available at the new Palace of Sweets.
