WILDWOOD – Clark Doran, Director of Planning and Development with the Morey Organization, received the 2011 Award for Volunteer Excellence from Literacy Volunteers of New Jersey.
The organization, which is dedicated to helping adult students with reading, writing, comprehension and spelling, honored Doran for his long-time commitment to literacy through his work with Literacy Volunteers Association Cape-Atlantic, the local LVNJ affiliate. He joined LVA-CA as a volunteer tutor more than two decades ago and was later elected to the Board of Directors where he served as President for six years.
“I’m deeply honored by this award and am very thankful that Morey’s Piers has been so supportive of my efforts with Literacy Volunteers over the years.” said Clark Doran.
Morey’s Piers congratulates Clark Doran on his continued dedication to volunteerism and public service.
“We are proud to work with individuals who are passionate about our community,” said Will Morey, President. “Clark’s work with the Literacy Volunteers Association is an inspiration to all of us at The Morey Organization.”
