Middle Township Chamber of Commerce Lights Up the Holidays with Holiday Social, Tree of Life Auction

By Press Release

Middle Township Chamber of Commerce’s signature Holiday Social and Tree of Life Auction is set to take place at the Wildwood Golf and Country Club on Wednesday, Dec. 10 starting at 6:00 p.m. Proceeds from the event will support three local nonprofits: United Way in Cape May County, Cape Assist, and Holy Redeemer Hospice.
Entering its 28th year, Holiday Social and Tree of Life Auction will feature an assortment of holiday décor— including themed trees and holiday dressed wreaths — that will be up for auction that night. A delicious buffet will be served and a cash bar made available. Tickets are $25 per person and will be available at the door, or in advance by calling 609-463-1655.
Currently, donations of decorated trees (less than 4 feet tall and artificial) or holiday items are needed! Businesses and individuals can also sponsor a tree with a $150 donation, or a wreath at $75. Each sponsor will have their company (or individual) name displayed on the item at the event. During the event, ribbons will be awarded for the following categories: Most Creative, Artistic, Elegant/Formal, Best Children’s, Traditional, Whimsical and Best Theme.
“The holidays are a wonderful time to reflect on and appreciate all that we have, and to share in events and opportunities that can help to make our community stronger,” said Carol Sawyer, president of the Middle Township Chamber of Commerce and owner of Sawyer Bookkeeping & Payroll Services. “When we work together to provide support for our partners working to address some of our community’s most pressing challenges, we achieve much more than we could ever do alone. That is what this event is about—coming together in support of our local community, and we ask that you join us. “
