Middle Donates Property to Habitat for Humanity

By Joe Hart

COURT HOUSE –– Middle Township continued its relationship with Habitat for Humanity Monday night when it donated three properties in Whitesboro to the nonprofit organization, which builds houses for the needy.
The properties have been assessed at around $130,000. In previous years, the township sold two properties to the organization for $135,000.
On Monday, Committee passed a resolution, which identified the township’s need to provide low and moderate affordable housing as one of the reasons for the donation. The homes to be built on these properties will go toward that goal.
