NORTH CAPE MAY — The Vannaman Team announced that Brian McEwing joined Schick Real Estate and Insurance Agency.
McEwing was born and raised here and is a graduate of Lower Cape May Regional High School, Class of 2003.
After graduation he enrolled in the Cape May County Police Academy where he received the Director’s Award for graduating first in his class of Special Officers.
After working part-time with the Lower Township Police Department, McEwing attended Old Dominion where he was an accomplished skipper on the varsity sailing team.
In 2006, he was offered a full-time position with the Lower Township Police Department. He once again entered the Cape May County Police Academy as a full-time officer, where he received the Director’s Award a second time, graduating first in his class. He also received the Academic Achievement Award for the highest GPA.
McEwing now actively serves the citizens of Lower Township as a patrolman. He is a two- time rider in the Police Unity Tour, in which officers from around the country ride road bicycles to Washington D.C. during National Law Enforcement Week to raise money for the families of fallen officers.
McEwing is still a competitive sailor and now runs an amateur sailboat racing campaign based out of The Corinthian Yacht Club of Cape May. He competed in the J22 Class World Championships in August of 2008 in Rochester, New York. He is also an avid snowboarder and spends the summer months on the water either surfing, spear fishing, or sailing, and recently enrolled in Helicopter Flight Training in Medford New Jersey to pursue his helicopter pilot’s license.
Although new to real estate, McEwing brings an expert knowledge of the area and an unwavering commitment to professionalism to his clients. His extreme ambition and positive attitude ensure a results-based approach to serving clients in today’s dynamic market.
