Masciarelli Joins Cape Regional Physicians Associates

COURT HOUSE — Cape Regional Physicians Associates has announced that Anthony Masciarelli D.O., Board-Certified Gastroenterologist, will join the practice effective Oct., 2013 and is now accepting new patients.
“Cape May County has a demonstrated need for additional gastroenterology services,” stated William Hofmann, D.O., Outpatient Medical Director of Cape Regional Physicians Associates. “We are excited to have Dr. Masciarelli join Cape Regional Health System. Dr. Masciarelli is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and has extensive clinical experience. Dr. Masciarelli has a special interest in liver diseases, irritable bowel syndrome and capsule endoscopy; his outstanding commitment to his patients will complement his exceptional credentials.”
Dr. Masciarelli is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), School of Osteopathic Medicine, Stratford, NJ. He earned his Bachelors of Science Degree from St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA. His postgraduate training includes a fellowship and residency in Gastroenterology at Kennedy Health System, NJ. Dr. Masciarelli has been in private practice for the past 21 years, most recently with Advanced Gastrointestinal Specialists and has served as Chief Gastroenterologist at Kennedy Health System, Washington Township, NJ from 2006 to 2012.
