CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Cape Regional Health System congratulates Mary Osler, RN, MSN, on the achievement of a Master of Science Degree in Nursing Leadership from Wilmington University, New Castle, Del. Mary has served as the Director of the Emergency Department at Cape Regional since 2012.
“Mary’s dedication and commitment of nursing excellence is apparent in every aspect of her work and leadership,” stated Deborah Baehser, MSHA, Vice President of Patient Services at Cape Regional. “We congratulate Mary on her graduation from Wilmington University and on the great accomplishment of achieving her Master of Science in Nursing Leadership.”
Wilmington University’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Graduate Program is designed to prepare professional nurses for roles in advanced practice. Nurses educated at the graduate level demonstrate competency in the roles of advanced caregiver, leader, teacher and participant in research. Nurses prepared at the graduate level also have the opportunity to influence health policy and practice with a high level of autonomy in a variety of settings.
Ms. Osler graduated from Eastern University, St. David’s, Pa. with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has been a Cape Regional Health System team member since 2005 serving as a Nursing Supervisor and Staff Nurse in the Emergency Department until her appointment as Director in 2012. She is married to Pastor Ted Osler who serves as Lead Pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Cape May Court House. The couple has two grown daughters and four grandchildren. In the midst of her very active life, Mary has continued to be an avid seeker of lifelong learning.
