Marshalls Moving to Rio

By Vince Conti

RIO GRANDE – In a recent meeting Middle Township Mayor Michael Clark confirmed the rumors that Marshalls store will soon relocate from its Court House location to an empty space at the south end of the Grande Center, the Rio Grande shopping complex owned and managed by Delco Development LLC. Marshalls will be next to the Aldi grocery store.
A call to Delco was unsuccessful in getting an estimated date for the move. A company representative said, “The date is still in the works.”
Marshalls, the off-price department store chain owned by TJX Companies, will leave a location where it has proximity to other stores owned by TJX Companies, TJMaxx, and Home Goods. The move will locate it near another of TJX Companies stores, Ross.
The Grande Center is a retail complex which is experiencing new investment from existing stores, notably the expansion of Walmart into a Walmart Supercenter.
