MacDonald Named Cape Regional Foundation Chair

COURT HOUSE – April 18, 2011 – Henry Brzyski, Chairman of the Cape Regional Health System, has announced the appointment of Arlene H. MacDonald to serve as Chairwoman of the Cape Regional Medical Center Foundation. “It is my pleasure to appoint Arlene to the Chair position of the Foundation,” stated Brzyski. “Her professional knowledge and experience in Cape May County is a true asset for the Foundation Board.” Ms. MacDonald has served on the Foundation Board for the past three years and serves on the Cape Regional Health System Board of Trustees.
Ms. MacDonald is a member of the Sales Team for The Press of Atlantic City. Most recently, she served as Cape May County Advertising Manager. Prior to joining The Press of Atlantic City, Ms. MacDonald was co-owner and General Manager of Rio Station Restaurant in Rio Grande, NJ. Ms. MacDonald also worked nine years at WZXL/WCMC/WFNN Radio Stations in Wildwood.
Ms MacDonald is an active volunteer in Cape May County and serves on several community organizations and Boards including the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce, Beth Judah Temple, Cape May County Technical School, Middle Township Chamber of Commerce and the Cape Regional Medical Center Foundation.
Cape Regional Medical Center is an affiliate of the University of Pennsylvania Health System for Cancer Care and Cardiac Care and is accredited by The Joint Commission with the Gold Seal of Approval and is an Accredited Chest Pain Center. The 242-bed Medical Center is located in the heart of Cape May County.
