MAC Presents 2018 Honor Award to Mary McKenney

Given every year, the MAC Honor Award recognizes people who have been instrumental to the growth and success of the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) and Cape May community. On Thursday, Nov. 8 during the organization’s Annual Meeting and Membership Social at Cape May Winery, the 2018 MAC Honor Award was presented to Mary McKenney of Cape May. McKenney has served on the MAC Board of Trustees since January 2010, including a stint as MAC board president. She was nominated for her leadership role with: MAC’s 2015 and 2018 Designer Show Houses; spurring community engagement, especially involving outreach to locals and young families, as well as welcoming the public to the Physick Estate; strategic planning; securing financial support for the organization; board and staff development; and meeting fire code challenges.
