Lovejoys a More Relaxed, Casual Experience

By Sponsored Content

In May 2011, Anthony Cataldo took over the ownership of Lovejoys in Rio Grande. Since that time, he has been committed to making the shop a more relaxed, fun, and casual shopping experience, especially for women.
He was told that for years, women felt a little embarrassed walking into the store, sometimes they would send their boyfriends in, or brave girlfriends would stop by for a bachelorette gift or party item.
Cataldo wanted to change that by making the store more of a boutique. So they have added more lingerie, better products, and several new product lines.
Over the last couple of months, Cataldo and store manager Jill Thompson have been remodeling the interior, and preparing it for Cataldo’s new vision.
All that work is finally done, and Lovejoys is celebrating a grand re-opening this coming weekend on Friday and Saturday Feb. 10 and 11 from 11a.m. to 7 p.m.
“We’re opening just in time for Valentine’s day,” Cataldo said.
So of course, he wants you to think of Lovejoys as a Valentine’s Day Boutique for adults over 18.
“Don’t be intimidated by intimates. We have a very discreet staff and a variety of items sure to please even the most reserved shoppers and those more daring. You will definitely find something for your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day, but you won’t find chocolates,” he added, smiling.
They also carry bridal items, especially those items for the honeymoon, and fun bachelorette gifts for the wild at heart.
They’re offering specials during their grand re-opening, including drawings and give-a-ways.
If you are an adult, and you want something especially special for Valentine’s Day — something your sweetheart will not soon forget — visit Lovejoys this weekend.
And for all you ladies out there, grab a girlfriend’s hand and come out and try on some incredible shoes.
