Carl T. Mitnick School held their playground dedication Oct. 2. In attendance were community groups who donated towards this cause, including Villas Fire Department, Lower Township Elementary School PTA, Lower Township Education Foundation, Sturdy Savings Bank, Villas VFW, Lower Township Rotary Club, and Vietnam Veterans of America.
Superintendent Jeff Samaniego and Principal Chris Shivers both spoke during the dedication. First Grade Teacher Amanda Nuscis and her students were in attendance as well. Mrs. Nuscis was involved in the process of collecting donations.
