Laricks Buys Township Realty

By Herald Staff

MARMORA — Veteran Realtors Don and Dustin Laricks of Sea Isle City have announce purchased the Upper Township real estate office of Coldwell Banker Township Realty from Lewis and Linda Tozour.
The Laricks family name is synonymous with the area’s real estate industry, starting with the purchase of the business by Arthur Laricks, Don’s father, in 1945.
Don joined the business in 1968 and Dustin, Don’s son, a realtor, took over the administrative reins of the company in 2007.
According to a release, Coldwell Banker Laricks Real Estate’s services include rentals and sales for both individual and commercial clients throughout Cape May County.
Like the Laricks Family, the Tozours have long been involved in real estate in the area, having built their first office in 1979.
When they recently made the decision to retire, the couple felt it important to place the future of their customers and employees in the hands of “trusted professionals.”
Contacting the Laricks, was a decision they made “with the greatest of confidence,” the release stated.
“When it comes to trust and service, there is nothing like a family-owned business,” said Lew Tozour.
“Your name is your reputation, and people know that you are interested in a relationship, not just a transaction. That’s the standard of excellence that we have always lived by, and the very same one that has been passed through three generations of the Laricks family,” he stated.
At Township Realty, the Laricks plan to keep things “business as usual,” making virtually no changes to the business, the staff, or even the name, with the exception of some operational enhancements that will “benefit both customers and staff.”
“Coldwell Banker Township Realty has served the businesses and residents of Upper Township for many years,” said Dustin Laricks.
“The team of knowledgeable, attentive sales professionals will remain in place, only now with the support of some technological updates that will make the buying experience easier and better than ever,” Laricks continued.
The Laricks are well-versed in putting technology to work for buyers and sellers. They were among the first in the area to offer virtual property tours online, enabling those interested in shore properties to tour potential summer homes without leaving the comfort of their home.
And, with the backing of the Coldwell Banker name, agencies like Township Realty, 46 Roosevelt Blvd., and Laricks Real Estate enjoy the support of nationwide networking, integrated marketing campaigns, and continuing education for service professionals.
Sales members include the following, who hold the Graduate Realtor Institute designation:
Kevin Best, Linda Cruse, Andrea DeLuca, Debbie Gannon, Pat Smith, Bette Jean Yank.
Other customer service staff members are:
Gary Hunter, Dan Judge, Judi Mislin, Karen Chant, Peg O’Boyle.
