CHICAGO — Joanne Carrocino, FACHE, President & CEO of Cape Regional Health System, has been appointed to the Council of Regents, the legislative body of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). The Council of Regents serves as the vital link between ACHE and members by approving governance and membership regulations as well as promoting ACHE educational and professional development programs, services and activities within their respective areas.
Carrocino will take office at the Council of Regents meeting March 25, 2017, during ACHE’s 60th Congress on Healthcare Leadership at the Hilton Chicago. As a Regent, Carrocino will represent ACHE’s District 1 membership which encompasses the Northeastern United States and Canada. “It truly is an honor and privilege to have been appointed to this important role within ACHE,” stated Carrocino. “During these times of unprecedented healthcare change and uncertainty, healthcare professionals depend on the ACHE for education and thought leadership.”
