Joan Pote Receives Cape Regional Service Excellence Award

COURT HOUSE – Joan Pote, Nutritional Services Cook at Cape Regional Medical Center, has been honored with the Service Excellence of the Year Award for 2013/2014 in recognition of her exceptional customer service skills, positive attitude and great sense of humor.
“Joan brightens the day with her great sense of humor and smile. She is consistently happy and friendly to her customers. Joan goes above and beyond to ensure everyone has access to a great breakfast and is an awesome Cape Regional Team Member,” wrote her nominators, Kevin Smyth, Marjorie Madonna, and Carolyn Richards from the Accounting Department.
“Each and every day Joan comes to work with a positive attitude. She is a team player who is always there to offer a helping hand. Joan’s pleasing personality and smile puts her at the top of the people pillar. We are all fortunate to have Joan on our team,” stated Vince DePietro, Executive Chef in the Nutritional Services Department.
“I am so excited to receive the Service Excellence of the Year award,” stated Ms. Pote. “I want to thank everyone for this honor. I really don’t know what to say! I am speechless.”
Ms. Pote was chosen from among 12 team members who received the Service Excellence of the Month Award during the past year. Joan lives with her family in Villas, New Jersey. She has five children, 13 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
