Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union collected gifts for their Rio Grande Branch Starfish Angel Tree to benefit a family of four from the Family Promise of Cape May County. Members from the Rio Grande Branch and Jersey Shore FCU staff generously collected presents from clothes and shoes to toys and gift cards.
Santa and his elves delivered the presents on Dec. 21. The family – parents Christian and Keren, and children Christian Jr. and Kendryell – was overjoyed and filled with sincere gratitude and appreciation. James Burns, Jersey Shore FCU President & CEO, stated, “Words cannot express how satisfying it is to put a smile on children’s faces and bring a little joy and excitement into the lives of this family, especially during the holidays.”
Jack Hickey, Jersey Shore FCU Board Member and Social Action Chairman, sincerely thanks our credit union members and staff for their generosity and kindness for the less fortunate and their contribution toward making a family’s Christmas wishes come true.”
