COURT HOUSE – Jack Hickey, Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union Board Member, from Egg Harbor Township received the 2013 New Jersey Credit Union League (NJCUL) Volunteer of the Year Award at NJCUL’s 79th Annual Meeting & Convention in Atlantic City, NJ on Sept. 30, 2013.
Jack is an engineer at the William. J. Hughes Technical Center in Pomona, NJ and has volunteered his expertise and time to the credit union since 2000. His roles have included Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, Board Treasurer, ALM Committee Chairman, Social Action Committee Chairman, and New Jersey Shore Chapter Vice President.
With Jack’s leadership skills, he had been instrumental in helping the credit union double in asset size during the period he has been on the credit union board. He has also been influential in our expansion from a two office operation to six different office locations, including the credit union’s newest branch in Galloway, NJ.
Virginia Williams, Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union’s CEO stated, “Previously this year, Jack was awarded the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) Volunteer of the Year Award at NAFCU’s 46th Annual Conference and Solutions Expo in Boston, Massachusetts. This speaks volumes of Jack’s volunteerism.”
John DiNofrio, Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union’s Board Chairman added, “We are proud to have Jack as part of our Board of Directors. He’s always willing to lend a hand and help whenever and wherever as needed!”
