IRS Tip for Deducting Charitable Contributions

MOUNTAINSIDE — The following is a tax tip from New Jersey’s IRS Spokesperson Gregg Semanick.
When preparing to file your federal tax return, don’t forget your charitable contributions .
Your donations could add up to a sizeable tax deduction. You must itemize your deductions on IRS Form 1040, Schedule A in order to deduct your charitable contributions.
