OCEAN CITY – “Magical Monday” at Gillian’s Wonderland Pier from 1 to 4 p.m. on Aug. 15 will include unlimited rides with the purchase of a $20 wristband, and proceeds will benefit the HERO Campaign.
The HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers® was founded by William and Muriel Elliott in honor of their son John, who was killed by a drunk driver two months after he graduated from the Naval Academy in 2000. The Campaign’s mission is to prevent drunken driving tragedies by promoting the use of safe and sober designated drivers.
This special event is to assist in this Campaign, with billboards, commercials, educational forums and to promote safe and sober designated drivers. For more information on the HERO Campaign, log onto: www.herocampaign.org
