As a premier vacation destination, the City of Cape May deserves a gourmet steakhouse and being a shore town, providing high quality seafood is a must.
Hemingway’s in The Grand Hotel delivers on both fronts, in a comfortable, Key West themed atmosphere. From their USDA prime steaks to their sensational seafood, both locally caught and exotic, any dish you order is sure to keep you coming back.
As well as being a staple of any Cape May vacation, Hemingway’s offers a place locals can call home. Hemingway’s is one of the few places that remains open all year to serve local friends and visitors alike.
Since the restaurant opened in 2009, Hemingway’s has been well known for serving one of the most impressive breakfast buffets in Cape May County, and their high-quality dinner menu also quickly gained notoriety.
In fact, Hemingway’s was honored as “Best of the Shore 2010” by South Jersey Magazine.
Hemingway’s also offers an early bird dinner menu known as their Sunset Dining Menu, where patrons choose from among several delicious entrees, soup or salad, and a dessert, all for just $13.95.
This year, Hemingway’s introduced an all-new lunch menu; served daily from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hemingway’s quickly became the local hot-spot for lunch.
As Hemingway’s prepares to celebrate their second anniversary, they are excited to announce the first annual “Ernest Hemingway Look-a-Like Competition.”
Festivities start at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 29 with live entertainment, drink specials, door prizes, and special menu items featuring Cuban and Key West appetizers, Cuban sandwiches, conch chowder and fried conch!
There will be three separate contests. Two costume contests: The Hemingway look-a-like and a creative interpretation of the Hemingway look.
The third contest, a creative interpretation of a Hemingway story, can be either a costume or a poem. A great time will be had by all!
Hemingway’s sincerely thanks all the locals and visitors who made the restaurant so successful, and they look forward to seeing you and plenty of new faces at the Hemingway Look-a-like Contest to help kick off the summer of 2011 in Grand Style.
