COURT HOUSE — Helen K. Reed is retiring this month after 22 years of service as the training program Director of Services for the Jersey Cape Diagnostic, Training and Opportunity Center, Inc.
Named Cape May County’s “Outstanding Woman” by Herald readers in 2001, Reed is described by her colleagues as a “tireless and dedicated professional” who inspires others with her “selfless commitment to programs which serve the needs of individuals with employment barriers.”
Reed’s professional efforts have been vital in helping the center earn seven consecutive national CARF three-year accreditations, the highest level awarded.
Jersey Cape Diagnostic, Training and Opportunity Center, Inc., is a private not-for-profit organization with a 37 year history serving Cape May County residents. The center provides employment and training services for individuals with disabilities, youth and public assistance recipients.
