By Sponsored Content

COURT HOUSE – Members of the Cape Regional Health System Board of Trustees accompanied by members of the hospital Senior Management Team, provided holiday cheer to the patients and staff at Cape Regional Medical Center on Dec. 16, 2013. Patients received a small holiday gift donated by Board Chairman, Ellen Kravet Burke.
“Our Board wanted to make the holidays special for our patients who are recuperating at Cape Regional,” stated Burke. “We visited those patients who wished to have a visitor on the evening of Dec. 16, after our December Board Meeting. We brought many smiles to the patients and to the staff as well. Sharing the spirit of the season was important to our Board Members and staff.”
“I was getting ready for bed and had a wonderful visit with several members of the hospital board,” stated Beth, a patient on the fourth floor. “It made my day and gave me an opportunity to say thank you and brag about the wonderful nurses on the fourth floor.”
Members of the Board and Senior Management team wore holiday stocking hats and visited patients throughout the hospital who wished to have a visit.
