LOWER TOWNSHIP – In its fourth year of giving back to the community, Hawk Haven donates big! Winemaker, Todd Wuerker’s love for Christmas traditions inspired him to start selling Christmas trees at Hawk Haven. His dream was to make Hawk Haven a part of those family traditions. He always envisioned guests walking through the trees, glass of wine in hand, choosing the perfect one for their home. Even more so, he wanted to make sure that everyone could partake in these Christmas traditions which sparked the Giving Vine Campaign. Every year Hawk Haven collects toys and children’s outwear as well as Christmas trees and donates them to families in need through Cape Assist, sharing the Christmas spirit to those who otherwise may not be able to afford them.
This holiday season, with the generosity of the community, Hawk Haven was able to collect two big boxes of children’s toys and outwear. In addition to collecting toys and outwear, for every tree that was purchased at Hawk Haven, a tree was donated to local families in need, totaling 10 trees. Secluded Acres Farm and Garden Center was generous enough to supply the trees at cost to Hawk Haven and donate 10 tree stands to accompany the donation.
Hawk Haven has partnered with Cape Assist, a local agency serving the communities of Cape May County to donate all trees, toys and children’s outerwear.
Cape May County – Inept, clueless, inadequate don't even scratch the surface of "NOLA's" police chief, mayor and governor, I cringe at the thought of two more major events happening soon, did you…
