Sarah Matthews is the new Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity, Cape May County. Matthews has held positions of increasing responsibility at the ARC of Cape May County for more than two decades.
She is a member of the county Human Services Advisory Council, current chair of the County Comprehensive Emergency Assistance System which oversees HUD funding that flows through the county, and a former chair of the county Advisory Commission on Women. Matthews is a tireless advocate of hands on solutions to society’s problems.
“I’m passionate about connecting the pieces and the players,” she says. “Paying attention to the talent within an organization yields incredible results for those receiving assistance. Those results continue to pay forward. Habitat is a great example of how helping families today influences generations to come and improves our neighborhoods and communities.”
Matthews begins her work with Habitat on June 10.
