COURT HOUSE – Members of Girl Scout Troop 43006 and 46434; made a surprise visit to Cape Regional Medical Center Dec. 19, to personally deliver presents to the pediatric patients who might be hospitalized over the holidays.
“The brightly-wrapped gifts are under the Christmas Tree on the Pediatric unit. This is a holiday tradition the Girl Scouts love to take part in,” stated Cindy Keppler, RN-C, Staff Nurse on 2 East. “While we hope no child will have to be hospitalized over the holiday, it’s nice to know that we have a special gift to give them to brighten their day. We are so grateful to Girl Scout Troop 43006.”
“We are always amazed at the thoughtfulness and concern shown by the young people in our community,” stated Mary Beth DeCredico, Administrative Director of Maternal Child Health and Medical Surgical Units. “Our deepest gratitude and thanks is extended to Girl Scout Troop 43006 for spreading holiday cheer to our patients and their families.”
